Meet Our New Agency & Partnership Manager

Starting a new job is always daunting, right? Brand new people, a different environment and a change in ways of working. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous to start my new role, but within 5 minutes of being at Summit, I felt right at home.

As a local girl with a degree in marketing, Summit had been on my radar for a while and after speaking to multiple people from all aspects of the business, I knew this was the place for me. They radiated enthusiasm for Summit and their friendliness and passion was truly inspiring. After speaking to Holly, Summit’s Talent Partner, I applied for the role of Agency and Partnership Manager in the Productcaster team – and I got it!

About My Team & Job Role

In the fantastic Productcaster team we specialise in Google Shopping, ensuring both current and future clients are getting the most out of their shopping performance via our marketing technology, Productcaster CSS (a Comparison Shopping Service) and Feedmanager (a feed management tool).

Within Productcaster we have the core team that focuses on sales and client support, but we also work closely with the marketing, development and the senior management teams to make sure our software and service are the best it can be for our current and potential clients.

My role in a nutshell is to outbound new agencies and possible partnerships where we can provide our platforms to their clients, while also nurturing current agencies and partnerships, making sure they are well supported and seeing if there is any room for further collaboration.

Even though I’ve only been here a few months, I feel I’ve learnt so much and met some fantastic clients already. In addition to this, I already have a visit to THG headquarters planned, plus various visits to agencies in the local area and I’m attending the E-Commerce Expo at the ExCel as well as the Autumn Retail Festival in London – a very exciting time.

Why did I choose Productcaster and Summit?

Like I said in the intro, I immediately felt right at home at Summit. I love the vibrant office days where you can spend some quality time with your team (while being surrounded by fantastic lunch spots). I love the zealousness of everyone I’ve met. People are truly happy to be a part of such a fantastic company, shown clearly by so many long-standing Summiteers who have been a part of all the changes Summit has had over the years. It really is a joy to work here.

I started my role in July, so I was lucky enough to attend Summit’s annual Oscars event! This is a night spent celebrating all that is Summit, with every team coming together to mingle and showcase the brilliant work the company has achieved that year. The awards ceremony has various categories (such as Newcomer of the Year, Trailblazer of the Year, Summiteer of the Year) where Summiteers are awarded for an outstanding year. It is a great evening celebrating Summit, Productcaster and our Summiteers, while being able to speak with colleagues you might not usually get as much time to talk to as you’re in different departments.

For anyone who’s looking for a role at a vibrant, welcoming and passionate company, full of hardworking people and experts within their fields, Summit is your place to be. Starting here and being a part of the Productcaster team is an honour. Every day is a learning day and every day you want to be your best self, because that’s what everyone else here brings.
